Kayla and Kevin’s wedding at Saint Clement’s Castle in Portland, Connecticut was a joyful celebration years in the making—and one I had the absolute honor of capturing. I've been photographing these two since their intimate elopement in 2020, and over the years, they’ve become not just clients, but true friends.

Their June wedding day was everything a Connecticut summer wedding should be: bright, warm, emotional, and filled with nonstop celebration. Kayla and Kevin got ready separately, surrounded by their closest friends and family, before meeting at the castle for an emotional first look. The energy between them was electric—you could feel how much this day meant.

After portraits with their vibrant wedding party (seriously, the summer wedding color palette they chose was chef’s kiss), we moved into a heartfelt outdoor ceremony. Their vows were personal and powerful, and their guests’ reactions were just as moving—tears, laughter, and so much love from start to finish.

The reception was next-level fun. Kayla and Kevin were welcomed into the ballroom with cheers, huge smiles, and a packed dance floor that never let up. The energy in the room was contagious—exactly what a wedding at Saint Clement’s Castle should feel like. From emotional toasts to joyful dance circles, their love radiated through every moment of the night.
